Ruchi Jaju is a certified yoga teacher from Rishikesh, India, the birthplace of yoga. After a successful 12-year career in sales, marketing, and consulting, she transitioned into yoga full-time, embracing her calling to teach.
Based in Luxembourg, Ruchi shares her practice through local in-person classes and by guiding transformative yoga retreats in India and other beautiful locations. Trained in Hatha Yoga and Yin Yoga, Ruchi’s approach to teaching is rooted in the ancient yogic traditions of India, while also being mindful of the modern-day needs of practitioners in the West.
Ruchi’s journey with yoga began as a way to find balance in the midst of a fast-paced, high-pressure corporate life. Yoga became her anchor in times of stress, helping her to not just find relief in her body, but also calm her mind and heal emotionally. She believes that yoga, when practiced holistically, becomes a tool for empowerment, allowing individuals to live with awareness, peace, and a sense of purpose.
Through her personal experience, Ruchi brings an approachable and nurturing style of teaching. She believes that yoga isn’t just about asanas — it’s about understanding the connection between mind, body, and spirit. It’s about surrendering and letting go so that we can experience life with greater ease and joy.
Ruchi teaches and shares her practice through LUMI Studio — her home base for group classes, community sessions, and wellness collaborations.

I found yoga at a time when I needed something steadier than motivation and stronger than “positive thinking.” Not a quick fix—something that could actually hold me through stress, confusion, and the constant pressure of trying to be okay.
What started as movement slowly became a practice of self-understanding: noticing what I hold onto, what I avoid feeling, and what I can finally soften. Over time, yoga stopped being about “doing it right” and started becoming about living with more honesty, stability, and breath.
In my classes, I want you to feel two things at once: supported and capable.
I’ll challenge you but never at the cost of safety. I encourage students to explore their edge within their body limits, because confidence grows when you realize you can do hard things gently.
And because alignment matters, I pay attention. I correct, adjust, and guide with care so your body understands the pose, not just your mind.
Yes, we practice poses in my classes. But I also give context: simple yoga philosophy, everyday reasoning, and habits that translate into real life.
The goal isn’t to become a different person. The goal is to bring yogic learning into your existing routine so you’re calmer in the middle of a busy week, more resilient when emotions rise, and more connected to yourself in small moments.
